The Animal Birth Control program implemented by the Indian government faces numerous challenges and shortcomings. To enhance and complement their initiatives, several NGOs have taken up the responsibility of conducting sterilization programs for stray dogs, just like we do at The Voice of Stray Dogs (VOSD). We firmly believe that neutering or spaying is not only the most effective but also the most humane approach to managing the population of stray dogs. At VOSD, we collaborate with various NGOs across India to extend our support to these essential sterilization programs. It's worth mentioning that all the dogs residing permanently in the VOSD Sanctuary have undergone sterilization, as we prioritize their well-being. Website
