About the Position Job Description REQUIREMENTS:Experience: 5+yrsThis role involves performing root cause analysis to identify underlying issues, developing effective solutions, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.The engineer provides technical support to dealerships, service centers, and customers, while also maintaining and updating diagnostic tools and software.Data collection and analysis are critical aspects of the role, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and providing insights into vehicle performance and reliability.Additionally, the Diagnostic Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, conducts training sessions for technicians, and offers on-site diagnostic support to resolve issues promptly.By staying abreast of the latest advancements in automotive technology, the engineer plays a key role in enhancing vehicle safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.RESPONSIBILITIES :Perform in-depth diagnostics on vehicle systems (engine, transmission, braking, electrical, using specialized tools and software.Identify and troubleshoot faults and malfunctions in vehicle systems and components.Maintain, update, and calibrate diagnostic tools and software.Ensure diagnostic tools are used correctly and effectively by the technical team.Provide technical support and guidance to dealerships, service centers, and customers regarding vehicle diagnostics and repairs.Assist in creating technical service bulletins, repair manuals, and diagnosticprocedures.
